making haystacks

peanut butter & butterscotch chips....yum
scoop it out, scoop it out, waaaay out!!!

I feel so productive!

Time to eat!!!
Butterscotch Haystacks
1c butterscotch chips
1/2c peanut butter
1/2c peanuts (I used unsalted)
2c La Choy chow mein noodles
1/4c toffee bits (this isn't really part of the recipe, but I had them in the house so...why not!)
Heat peanut butter and butterscotch chips in the microwave on 50% power for 3-5 minutes. Stir, then add noodles and peanuts (& toffee bits). Place wax paper on a cookie sheet. Drop mixture onto wax paper by the tablespoon full. Place in the fridge to harden. Eat them all up!!! Yield: 30 cookies
These may not look pretty, but they are very good.

    I have made them with chocolate chips too.
    They are easy and people really like them.
