"praise flowers"

Here's a fun project to do with your families.
It's great for spring and Easter, but most
importantly it's a way to worship God.

I started by attaching paper circles to wooden skewers. You can find the skewers in the cooking section of the grocery store. If you are really ambitious you can paint them green. I attached the paper to the skewers using a scrap booking product called Zots. Zots are super sticky so they stick really well. But I'm sure a hot glue gun would work too.

Next, glue on some pom poms.

It's looking cute!

Now write some attributes of God on petals.
This is the time for your family to praise the LORD.

Glue the petals onto the paper circles.
These petals say He is awesome, mighty, creator,
merciful, compassionate and a strong tower.
There you have it.
A craft and a family devotion rolled into one.
I hope you try this with your family at home or
with your church family.
Psalm 35:28
And my tongue shall speak of thy righteousness
and of thy praise all the day long.

  1. Wow, what a nice idea! I LOVE your flowers:)

  2. I like this idea to make for a friend of mine. Her husband had a stroke and is in hospice care. The girls could make her these and give her some positive words to help with the hard times.

  3. Lisa,
    What a great idea!
    You are so creative.
You just keep amazing me with fun ideas.
    Love and miss you.
