outdoor wednesday

Nerium Oleander "Light Pink"
I lived in California for ten years and there is Oleander everywhere.
But all those years around Oleander, I never noticed this.....

Seed Pods.
My Oleander bushes (in Las Vegas) are covered in seed pods.

Here's one that's burst open.
I think it looks kinda cool.
Hopefully I don't end up with baby Oleanders all over my yard.
Now for something all gardeners understand......

that's not a weed...

now that's a weed!
It was hiding in a Jasmine vine so
I didn't notice it until it started flowering.

I LOVE Outdoor Wednesday.

  2. You are right about Oleander being everywhere in California but I've not seen the seed pods before either. Weeds....well, I have a lot of those. The rain has multiplied then!
