I haven't been able to participate in Outdoor Wednesday the last two weeks and I am so happy to be back. I look forward to checking out all the great outdoor shots on Susan's blog.www.asoutherndaydreamer.blogspot.com
My photos are from our recent trip to visit family in California.
This day we went to San Francisco.
The ocean was, of course, mighty and beautiful.
The trees were beautiful and creepy at the same time.

you really made me want to get back to san francisco for a visit...i love it.

ReplyDeleteHi Liz,
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visit to my garden, even if it is a little soggy today. Oh well, April showers-May flowers! Your trip was just breath-taking. I have never been to the west coast but it is on my “bucket list”.

OMG Lisa,
ReplyDeleteI called you Liz! So sorry for the typo. I need to proof before I post. I also wanted to comment on the catalog company. I have never seen them before but will look them up. Gorgeous, unusual things. Sorry again for the "slip of the wrist".
Kate
Happy Outdoor Wednesday Lisa..Sorry I haven't been around as much lately..... I haven't felt good. Thanks for sharing your photos.~ Susan
ReplyDeleteMighty and beautiful is certainly the right description for the ocean. Wonderful pictures, I'm sure you had a wonderful time there.
ReplyDeleteBefore I read your description, I knew these must be California, not Las Vegas. It is a real contrast from your neighborhood scenery. I look forward to the beauty you show us from your home area too.

I love the coast! One time we walk out into the ocean and the tide came in with unbelievable waves! Something to be very respectful around. Still, the view is incredible.
ReplyDeleteI saw your comment on Helen's blog and had to come by because my maiden name is Shatzer, spelled just the same as your last name! Not too many of us out there that I'm aware of.
ReplyDeleteKady
Absolutely beautiful pictures!
