Lisa, these are really neat! I'm always fascinated to see cactus plants because they are quite different from the things that grow in the heat and humidity of Florida. And I love that adorable burro! He's a cutie.
Hi Lisa! I signed up to follow your BLOG. I live in Phoenix, and was tickled to see that others love the cactus as well. They can be your friends but they can also be your enemy. They poke. Happy Outdoor Wednesday. Please pop over and see what I have been up to. Scroll down to my 4th of July pics. You will love my decorations. (1 in particular). I would love to have you follow my BLOG as well. Country Hugs, Sherry
Thanks for sharing. When I lived in Phoenix/Glendale many years ago, I was probabley the only one out there watering in the evening trying ti have a little green. :) Glenda
Great post, Ouch! what beautiful cactus plants, and that burro, I clicked and saw the other burrows, i had never seen a white burro, what a beauty. Thank you for sharing. Sue
Always fun to see what's growing (and blooming) in other parts of the country. When it's dry here, things just shrivel up, but you always have things that can stand the dry heat.
what amazing photos...it is such a different landscape there...love the cacti! and i could just throw my arms around that little burro's neck. he is so cute! chasity
What great photos. It's a unique and quite different landscape from most appearing in the blogs. Thanks for sharing your photos with us. Have a wonderful day. Blessings...Mary
There was a time when these type plants didn't interest me. But now I am so in love with their versatility and boundless texture. And some do indeed bloom! Thanks for the desert tour! Brenda
I just love seeing cactus, they just amaze me, but then again it is way too cold to have them here :) Feeding the wild burro sounds like fun. Thanks for sharing! Crystal
Loved seeing the cactus!! It looks like there are many different types and it's cool how they just grow wild all over. The flowering cactus in your father's yard is so pretty! I WILL make it to Arizona someday!!
By the way, Levi has gotten so big and if possible, more cute than ever!

ReplyDeleteThe cacti are in bloom! How neat is that? The donkey doesn't look wild, but I'll take your word for it. Thank you for sharing. Happy OW.
ReplyDeleteGotta love the burro.
ReplyDeleteCacti...I was just admiring some at a nearby specialty garden.
Fascinating to us because we don't have them naturally here in PA.
