This week Kelly's "Show us where you live" has turned into "show us your life" the show and tell for this Friday is wedding gowns.
You may have noticed a theme here...poofy dress, poofy sleeves, poofy hair, but give me a break people, this was 1993! Bigger was better!
Evan my poor sister got stuck with big, poofy sleeves. It was what I wanted.
Look at this sweet picture of my husband and I gazing at each other. Notice the romantic restroom sign the photographer captured, nice.

You look so pretty. I love to see how trends change. When I was looking at a cake lady's portfolio...it was so fun to see how the dresses, hair and cake changes over the years.

ReplyDeleteYou are gorgeous. I think we all should KNOW that styles have changed and give ourselves a BREAK because if you hadn't had a gown in style at the time, you would have looked really silly on your big day.

ReplyDeleteI hear you on having a bad picture! When I was getting pics done of the back of my dress on the church stairs, the photographer left the white carpet roll in the picture even after my Grandmother had noticed and told him (it was sticking out under my train). Then, when we were looking at proofs, he wanted to charge me $75 to remove it!! Horrible.
