scenes from my yard

I've shown these pictures of my yard on my blog before, but I'm a total whore for blog parties and the theme for Kelly's Show Us Where You Live is yards and garages. There is no way I'm showing you my messy garage, not brave enough, so here are some scenes from my yard. It's hard to take outdoor pictures in Las Vegas because it's so sunny there is always a lot of glare in the photos. So that 's why I'm recycling pictures instead of taking new ones.

The flagstone patio in the backyard.

Our widdle fountain.

It matches our birdbath although they were purchased at different times from different stores.

A lemon tree near the front door.

The other side of the walk way leading up to the front door.
I change out the flowers according to the seasons.

Succulents on the covered paver patio in the backyard.

My herb garden growing in it's raised bed.

  1. I love your patio and birdbath!! SO pretty and your herb garden is great!! LOve it!!

  2. I love all your fountains and lemon tree. I wish those would grow in Texas. I would love to have one on my patio. Thanks for your sweet comments!!

  3. I love your succulent urn-great idea!

  4. Love the fountain. Great yard. I didn't know anyone in Las Vegas had a green yard. I thought everyone had rocks and cactus for the water saving. I'm glad you have a green yard.

  5. Beautiful fountain! How relaxing!

  6. Very pretty space. Looks lovely for relaxing.

  7. Love your fountain and birdbath. We have a flagstone patio as well, but it doesn't look nearly as nice as yours! It's so hard to keep the weeds out of the cracks!

  8. Love the privacy of your backyard, all the flowers & the fountain. I wish I could have a lemon tree in PA :(. Very Nice!

  9. I love your garden! You have such a lovely home! Hugs, Lisa

  12. I think I need to hire you to come plant flowers in my barren prairie yard.

    I have a black thumb!
