Our house is all decorated for Christmas. In the interest of not showing you all 200 pictures in one post I'll start out by showing you how I've decorated our mantle and our kitchen.
Our fireplace mantle.
I put this green tin piece up on my mantle but saw that it was lacking something. Then I remembered Donna's fireplace mantle and how she put a wreath on top of a mirror. I already had the little jingle bell wreath and it was the perfect piece to layer on top of the tin.
I got most of the things at an after Christmas clearance sale last year. It was very fun opening up new boxes of stuff this year!
A mercury glass candle holder being used as a little vase.
The kids stocking holders.
My husband and my stocking holders. I love these. They are so "me"!
The boys stockings.

I love your green tin on the mantel ~ perfect color! Your little wreaths look great hanging down on the cabinets ~ I love this idea! I love ornaments in apothecary jars. It's so simple and really adds some festivity to any room.

Your kitchen cabs are so much like mine. LOVE the finish! The wreath idea is really sweet and a nice stylish touch.

Beautiful!! I love that green tin on the mantle. I want one!! So cute to have the wreaths on your kitchen cabinets too. What a great idea!
ReplyDeleteI love the tin piece, where did you find it? I thought about looking for tin tile and painting it silver for my fireplace.
ReplyDeleteI love your tin piece, too. However, the wreaths on your cupboard doors are killing me! I have small wreaths on my dining room chairs (the photos are not on my blog yet) they may get moved. Unfortunately, I can't seem to get the kitchen area cleaned up enough for pics :(.
ReplyDeletePretty kitchen decor! Love the wreaths!

Oh what fun! Is it worth us building a fireplace, just to have a mantle when we live in Florida just so I can decorate it for Christmas? LOL
