white and green

I love the combo of a green and white room! So fresh and pretty. In my house there would be BBQ fingerprints and such covering the white surfaces in about 5 minutes flat; so I just have to admire other peoples pretty, white, clean, fresh, looks.

I'm sure many of you are familiar with the wonderful blog Marley & Lockyer. I saw this photo on that blog recently and I love it's beauty and simplicity. I have a similar pitcher that is sitting behind a cabinet door. I also have a small metal "S" and yet I don't think I ever would have been able to make an arrangement this lovely.
Want to see some more white and green? Yes? Come along.....

BEE-YOUT-IH-FUL!!!!!
You know you can use silk topiary in your house. Gasp! Yes I said it! I like silk plants, as long as they're half way realistic looking.

It's a beautiful entry way and the green in the flowers just puts it over the top, gorg!

If you don't have a green thumb you could put some moss balls or tufts in a bowl like they did here.

Once again, a gorgeous room and I feel the green gives it life!

Well I won't blab about green and white any more, you get the idea.

  1. Very fresh! I have a green and white toile fabric that I have no planned project for, but I do love the combination {although, I love toile in general}.

  5. I have the same problem with white but I still love it. I painted all my trim work white and love it.

I enjoyed all the green and white you rounded up for us. So much inspiration. Thanks

  6. Love it - 'specially that PB one! The double rugs, the stacked books and wire basket, the white and green - delish! I changed up some of my accessories last night and mixed in some green and cream - funny though - I don't have one rug - much less two!

Thanks for the inspiration - gorg!

  7. Great photos. I just love how the green topiaries pop in that last kitchen photo. I have to agree with Kathy, a very fresh color combination.
