Paperweight

Last week I found this paperweight in the clearance aisle at Hallmark. You can put a photo behind a heavy, glass heart. I have lots of photos around my house already, so I decided to try a few looks using scrapbook paper.

I started with a scrapbook page that had antique keys all over it. I chose my favorite key and cut it out. I then glued it onto a paper with lovely writing all over it. The paperweight comes with a template so it's easy to make the perfect shaped heart.

For this look I started with a light floral paper, glued on a strip of the handwriting paper and finished it off with the "cherish" sticker.

Which look do you like best??

  3. What a great idea. There for a minute I thought the key was real.
I love them both, but I think my favorite is the key.

  4. I love the one with the key. Like Sissie, I thought the key was real at first! You could switch them out monthly since you already have the two made up.

  5. I love the key. And props to you for taking Levi into Hallmark with you. It has simply become an off-limits place to me these days.
