The Answer

Levi at 3 months

Levi was in the hospital the last two days and of course I was there with him. He caught a virus and became dehydrated. He is doing much better and we are so happy to be home! The doctors said there is a stomach virus going around and they are seeing lots of kids. So keep a close eye on your kiddos!

Soooo, in my last post I asked you to guess what kind of flower this is. Many of you guessed Hibiscus. Good guess.......but not correct.

Two of you guessed correctly. Pomegranite flower! Great job Vicki of Tozz's Corner and D. Jean Quarles!!!!! I'm sending you both a virtual high five :)
My tree is loaded with flowers this spring. I am looking forward to lots of yummy fruit this fall.

If you have kids, go give them a BIG hug and kiss. Even if they don't want you too! ;)

  5. I'm sorry to hear he was sick, glad you are home and he's doing better! I've heard of a lot of stomach bugs hitting here too, hopefully it will go away quickly. We've been dealing with colds and coughing, I can't seem to get everyone feeling 100%.

  8. I am so sorry! Watching your little one that sick, must have been so painful. Having grandchildren myself, I will be on the lookout for this type of virus. So thankful that he is doing better. Thanks also for the gentle reminder of hugging our children.

Isn't it just heartbreaking when our little ones get sick? I hope he feels better very soon. It's so scary....especially when they are so tiny. I'll give all of mine a big squeeze & sloppy kiss today...:)

    Take care friend!

  10. So good to hear that Levi is on the mend...its so worrying when the little ones become ill. They cant tell you what is wrong with them.

Hey...High Five!!! I was excited to have guessed your flower. They are quite a nice fruit too and I have heard people cooking them. Never tried it myself but pomegranite jam sounds good.
