I love this photo in BHG's Real Rooms magazine. When I saw it I wondered "where does someone find a green glass lamp like that"
Then I spied this at Target!! A green, glass, jug lamp! Bonus; the No.5 painted on it. I was in love!!!
While at Target I also picked up this cream, burlap, barrel, lampshade. I glued the braided trim on (from Walmart). Here's a tip: use fabric glue when glueing trim on a lampshade. So much nicer than using a glue gun. No burnt fingers. :)
So here she is in her new home!
Her left side.....
Her right side....
What?
I told you I was in love!
Sweet, sweet lampy. I heart you!

ReplyDeleteOoh, pretty, pretty. I love that it has the number painted on it and of course that lovely green glass base. The touch of burlap on the shade just makes it.

Very chic! I was just curious though as to how you attached the lampshade to the lamp! I actually purchased 2 of the exact same lamps, and now am looking for shades, and none fit over the threads! If you could let me know what type of shade you found, or how you fit it on, that would be great!!!
ReplyDeleteI have been looking at every Target for this lamp! Anyone know where I can find one? I am in Texas.
ReplyDeleteAt the time I bought this lamp they sold lampshades that fit it.
ReplyDeleteI own this too!! I bought a burplap shade from Tar-jay to go with it!!
