I have one whole spot in my house decorated for Christmas, yeah!
I have fallen in love with many of the beautiful Scandinavian blogs out there.
They usually have lots of white and natural elements.
Those blogs are where I have taken my inspiration for the entry way.
I wanted to have fresh greenery. I found these little trees at Walmart.
They came in different pots than these. I hope they live through Christmas!
I painted two terra cotta pots white, then sanded off some of the paint.
I added a simple ribbon and filled around the top of the top with some crinkly paper from the craft store.
I also hung a Noel ornament.
I found this very rough wooden box at the thrift store. I stenciled on Joyeux Noel and then sanded off a bit of the paint once it dried. I filled the box with these amazing mercury glass looking acorns from Walmart. Thank you Michelle from Emerald Cove for telling us about them on your blog! The white candles are from the dollar store. I added a bit of ribbon to them.
I added some green books to the shelf for Christmas.
The look is very simple.
It's calm and peaceful.
It makes me happy. :)
Next up....finishing the fireplace mantle!

It's beautiful Lisa! Love those little trees.
