A Very Neutral Home















This home from Renovation Style magazine is void of color and I love it!
I find the neutral palette very peaceful and lovely.
All the wonderful texture from stone, tile, woodwork, and fabrics keeps things interesting.
But if I actually lived in this house I have a feeling color would start showing up in the rooms little by little.
What about you?
Would you leave this home as is or would you need to add some color?

  3. Oh I LOVE Neutrals! I would not change much at all if I lived there. Just faint hints of colors like the green in the flowers etc.

  7. I love the neutral as well, very calm. I think I would leave it like that for the most part, maybe a few pops of color here and there for the holidays. :)

  9. Gorgeous! I love the restrained palette and as much as I try to do the same in my home, colour always seems to creep in a little - not a lot - but enough to disturb that calm, soothing feeling.

  13. I love the house too ~ and am drawn to neutral color palettes in decor, it's so calming, but I have a hard time extracting color all together. Color is so lively and invigorating. And I like to feel calm, but also invigorated!

  15. Stunning! I may throw a couple pops of red around since I'm not sure if I could live without it. Otherwise I love the look of all the texture and the light surfaces against the dark stain. It's so pretty.
