Last week was my first time shopping at a Pottery Barn since moving to Illinois seven months ago.
I was blown away by the gorgeous displays in this store.
Their stylists are so talented.
I wish one of them could come work their magic at my house.
I took this photo outside so there is glare from the window, but you can get an idea of how pretty it is.
I love the old wood paper in the background. Then you have the contrast of the shiny mercury glass.
It's brilliant!
Here's a closer look.
I just adore the reds, greens, and silver together.
The other front window was a table set for Christmas dinner and it was lovely too.
I loved the metal deer and the cute little trees.
Once again backed with the barn wood paper.
Makes me wish I could put it all over the walls of my house.
A couple of months ago I bought a bunch of large baskets at the thrift store; planning to put them on a big empty wall in my dining room.
I just haven't been totally convinced it would look good though.
So I was thrilled when I saw this wall of baskets inside Pottery Barn so I could see how it would look.
I am sorry I didn't get some better pictures of this.
Under this pergola was the most gorgeous tablescape, but there were lots of salespeople about and I felt weird taking photos.
Don't you just love the huge nail head trim on these chairs?
The table was full of rustic textures and white flowers.
Two of my favorite things!
With the distracting background in the photo it's a little hard to see.
But, this was such a pretty vignette on the sofa table.
I think it would look gorgeous in an entry way too.
I just may try to recreate this look in mine. :)
I hope you all had a Merry Christmas and that you have a safe and fun New Year's!!

Oh Lisa I could spend hours in PB, I'm sure they have the wall with the plates there too. It's my favorite wall. I really like the baskets too.

ReplyDeleteI walk around Pottery Barn in a daze! It would be so neat to be a stylist for them...what a fun and creative job, except I would want to bring everything home with me!! lol!
ReplyDeleteI think a "wallscape" with baskets would be awesome, Lisa. Give it a go!

Oh, Lisa! I have such PB envy! Although they will now deliver to Australia, the shipping costs still make it unattainable:( I loved PB when we lived in the US! Now I just make do at drooling over their catalogues that me sister gets for me on her travels:) The window displays were gorgeous, thanks for sharing!! xx

Ohhh, what's not to love about Pottery Barn, everything is so pretty there! I love that pergola too. Hope you have a Happy New Year :)
ReplyDeleteHey Lisa! Happy New Year!!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see your basket wall! You don't need the pottery barn designers, you could be one!
Are your kids off this next week? Do you have time to get together?
:)Heidi
Everything is awesome. You don't need the stylists. You are just as talented. I love the baskets on the wall. I wonder if there is a way to do it where it would be easy to take one down to use if needed.
ReplyDeleteThat's one place that I could spend an afternoon just soaking in all the prettiness!
ReplyDeleteHope your holidays were wonderful and my best wishes to you for the New Year. Thanks for all your sweet comments and support this year xo
Can't wait to see if you do that wall of baskets. Such a cute idea!!
ReplyDeleteP.S. Happy New Year!!! :)
I am loving reading your posts this am. Funny small world. My day job is to work with the people who put those windows together. They are very talented! I didn't see the wall with the baskets. But it looks lovely. Hope to see your version someday.
