Happy New Year!

I hope you all have a very Happy New Year!
My little one is sick so we'll be staying home today.

(Not that I had any glamorous new year's eve plans anyway.)

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas too.
Ours was really nice! Very happy and relaxed.

About a week ago all the fireworks stands opened back up.
Evidently Texans shoot off fireworks on New Year Eve.

Well you can bet my hubbie was quick to jump on that band wagon!
He is like a little boy when it comes to fireworks.
He spent almost $100 on them and tried to claim it was for our boys...ya right!

I have quite a few things I'm going to try to photograph for the blog today, but I need the
 sun to come out first!
Not that I'm complaining. I am thrilled that Houston is finally getting some cold weather.
So nice getting to wear my knock off Uggs.

Hope you don't mind I'm not doing one of those "my best projects of 2012" posts.
I never do. I'm too lazy to put one together.
They're just to much work. :)

So anyway...this has been a little bit of a rambling post...

I am raising my imaginary glass of champagne or sparkling apple cider and wishing you a
Happy New Year!!

  9. Don't feel bad. I never do one of those "best projects" posts either. I somehow don't feel the need I guess. LOL! Love your photo of your sofa with those pretty pillows. I now can see the swiss cross pillow that we both have. Love it! I still love mine and don't think I will ever tire of it as I have with some in the past. Yes, here in the south, there are always lots of fireworks going off on New Years Eve. I couldn't get to sleep last night because they were still being shot off at one in the morning! Happy New Year!
